The show will be held at the Conejos County Arena Complex at 17705 US Hwy 285, La Jara, Colorado 81140.
This is a show from the trailer event. We do not have pens or washing stalls on the premises. Washing stalls are in the works and some temporary racks are available but are not guaranteed to be in working condition come show time. As last year, this will be a two part show. All Valley in the morning SLV Only Rules, open show to follow!

Livestock Judge- Matthew Walta
Meet another 2025 Logan Smith Memorial Goat and Sheep Show judge, Matthew Walta. Matthew grew up in Kingfisher, OK on his family’s farm. He attended Redlands Community College and Oklahoma State University where he was named an All American in Livestock Judging at both institutions. After receiving his Animal Science Degree, Matt served as the Assistant Livestock Judging Coach at Redlands Community College for 2 years. He has returned home to the family farm where he runs 120 cows and 140 ewes to generate 4-H and FFA projects for youth exhibitors.
Livestock Judge- Jayce Davis
Meet one of our 2025 judges for Logan Smith Memorial Goat and Sheep Show, Jayce Davis. Jayce is from Gunnison, Colorado where he grew up showing goats, pigs, and horses through FFA and 4-H. He attended Northeastern Junior College competing on the livestock judging team while getting his associates degree in Ag Education. He will now be working towards his B.S. in animal science and natural resources at the University of Wyoming while continuing to compete on the livestock judging team.

About us
The Final Drive 4-H Club started Logan Smith Memorial Goat & Sheep Show in 2022! Final Drive 4-H Club has been a club for 20 years growing more and more each year. The leader of the Club is Dawn Sammons, who has poured her heart and soul into helping 4-H kids do what they love! They still help and host this show in the memory of their dear and beloved Final Drive Club member Logan. The Logan Smith Memorial Goat & Sheep Show is in the process of becoming a non-profit organization that the committee (made up of Logans parents and community members) plan to keep going for generations to come to honor his memory!
This show is named in the memory of Logan Smith. Logan Smith was a member of the Final Drive 4-H Club and was an integral part many things agriculture! Most importantly he was an amazing example to all who knew him. The purpose of this show is to honor the memory of Logan Smith and share all the good that he was! Logan spent a great deal of time at the Conejos County Arena Complex, in 4-H, roping, riding, and just having a great time so it is fitting to have a show here in his honor. This will be a show from the trailer event. (There are NOT washing stalls or holding pens on the premises.) This is an open show.
